Continental Ranch/Reserve

One of Tucson Arizona's (AZ) largest master planned communities is located in northwest Tucson. The community is Continental Ranch, and across Silverbell Road lies its close cousin, the yet newer development of Continental Reserve. Development of Continental Ranch was originally begun in the early 1990's in what was then the far northwest, just north of Cortaro (now one of the busiest streets in Tucson).

Within the master planned community of Continental Ranch/Reserve, there are in excess of 15,000 homes. The area is nearly built out now, with very small pockets of land being developed for homes. A new emerging neighborhood just 3 minutes north — Saguaro Springs — will be the extension of Continental Ranch/Reserve.

Within Continental Ranch, there is a skate park for skate boarders, basketball courts, baseball and football fields, several schools very close by, and 2 swimming pools. Residents of Continental Ranch/Reserve moved to the area in droves because of the convenience of the area. Two supermarkets, two Wal-greens, and a CVS pharmacy are all within a 5-mile radius. Numerous other retail outlets keep everything within a 10-minute drive.

Homes range in age from 20 years old to brand new, and sizes of homes range from 850 square feet to in excess of 4500 square feet. Any buyer should be able to find a home that fits his or her needs within the neighborhood.
