Named for the awe-inspiring Honeybee Canyon, The Estates at Honeybee Ridge is silently tucked away in Oro Valley, Arizona, the upscale city just minutes north of Tucson, Arizona. Oro Valley sits beneath the pinnacle of Pucsh Ridge, part of the Santa Catalina foothills.

About 1500 years ago, the Hohokam Indians occupied the Honeybee Canyon area and the archeological petrogrogyphs etched on abnormal rock outcroppings leave a permanent legacy of their culture still to this day. When the early Spaniards passed through the area, they thought the mountains took on the appearance of a cathedral, so they named the mountains nearby La Inglesia meaning "church." Today, the mountain range is known as the Santa Catalina Mountains.
