Indian House
Indian House is another small district, close to the busy Park Place mall on East Broadway Boulevard. Indian House stands as a unseen relic of Tucson's desert history. Dirt roads roam between large lots packed with untouched creosote and cactus. Its five or six houses were constructed in the 1930s, drawing on Sonoran ranch and pueblo styles. Its most famous resident was pianist Van Cliburn.
