Silverado Hills

Located in the premium area of Broadway and Houghton, sits one of the larger neighborhoods on Tucson's east side called Silverado Hills. Silverado Hills is a mix of one and two story homes built as a master planned community. The neighborhood features several distinctive builders and several dozen different floor plans. Homes in Silverado Hills range in size from roughly 1200 square feet to a maximum of just over 3200 square feet. For people desiring a convenient location on the east side of Tucson Arizona, it does not get much better than this. Broadway is Tucson's main street and will take you directly downtown. Houghton connects with 1-10 to the south and with the foothills to the north. West of the Houghton/Broadway intersection, there are many shopping areas, restaurants, and services located within easy driving distance. The average home was built around 1994, and the average lot size for a home in the neighborhood runs roughly 7,000-10,000 square feet. This lot size would be considered very large by today's standards for newly built homes that rarely run greater than 6,000 square feet. In Silverado Hills, the average size home is roughly 1965 square feet, which is also a high average for Tucson AZ.
